I know, I haven’t put any real content in yet, I’m still working on it:
Hi there! Until recently i was the very busy CEO of a healthcare software house by day, and addicted to figuring out how to use technology to improve my life and the life of others by night, and this is my blog. I live in The Midlands, have a fantastic wife and the best four legged friend a man could ask for (a dog in case you were wondering), named Cosmo. Outside of work I do all sorts of things under the broad umbrella that the late and great Steven Covey wrote about when he said that all men want to do is live, love and leave a legacy!
…my daily crust now is earned by supporting entrepreneurs who want to make a difference as a NED or with consulting support. I’ll generally be found doing whatever it takes to take forward a business a or an individual who is willing to make the journey.
My “body of work” to-date has always included innovation involving the use of technology and after overcoming a “silo mentality” about only being able to work in a specific sector – have worked and innovated in several and in several international markets. My most recent endeavour in healthcare resulted in a trade sale and exit.
CCBT Limited was founded in 2005 and an innovator, gaining the first online NICE approved therapeutic interventions for a variety of psychological conditions, delivering the same results as therapist working face to face. The business has been providing quality online treatments for anxiety, depression and OCD to the public ever since. Located in Birmingham, CCBT’s products are available to millions of people in the UK through the NHS and also through the equivalent organisations in the Netherlands, Denmark and the US. People who complete our programmes see their lives change in all sorts of wonderful ways, what these treatments and programs do is a life changer.
Over the coming days, weeks, years i’ll be updating the blog with all sorts of information, some helpful, some anecdotal and some things in retrospect I will probably think I should have kept to myself. I hope it will be of interest to you and provide entertainment as well as help you find a smoother way though the journey of life!
Thanks for your time and I hope you find something interesting or stimulating in the blog.
Hope you come by and visit again soon..
Nick
